Bernice IkinsText Box: BERNICE IKINS     Vivid pink double blooms, this lily looks like a smaller version of Mayla and is excellent for small to medium ponds.  For those who live in areas where there can be constant 100 degree plus temperatures in the summer this lilies blooms  will look beautiful in the early morning but will wilt by noon time.  The plant won’t die but the blooms cannot take the intense heat.  Odorata rhizome.

Leaves are green topside with reddish purple underside younger leaves are lightly mottled.  
Medium leaf spread 4 to 6 feet when planted in 2-3  gallon container with clay type soil.  

This hardy lily is a perennial plant and will go dormant in the winter, and will winter over in zone 4 and above if planted where the root ball doesn’t freeze.  
Weather permitting we start shipping in late March to early April and continue until September

In optimum conditions will reach full potential of leaf spread (this is not referring to size of leaves) we are speaking of the area that the leaves will cover.
